Refund policy
1. Fire Extinguishers are Non-Returnable
Due to Department of Transportation (DOT) and federal HAZMAT regulations regarding the shipment of pressurized cylinders and compressed gases, ShopStrikeFirst.com cannot accept returns on fire extinguishers.
Once a fire extinguisher leaves our facility, we lose the chain of custody required to guarantee that the unit has not been tampered with, dropped, or partially discharged. For the safety of our carriers and future customers, we cannot accept these items back into our inventory.
All sales of fire extinguishers are final. Please double-check your sizes, types (ABC vs. CO2), and quantities before placing your order.
2. Damaged or Defective Items
While we cannot accept returns for "buyer's remorse," we fully stand behind the quality of our products. If your order arrives damaged, or if a unit has lost pressure/discharged during transit, we will provide a replacement immediately.
How to Report a Damaged Item:

Inspect Immediately: You must inspect your package upon delivery.

Take Photos: If you see damage to the box or the unit, or if the gauge is in the "Red" (Recharge) zone, take clear photos of the damage and the shipping label.

Contact Us: Email us at sales@shopstrikefirst.com within 48 hours of delivery. Include your Order Number and the photos.
We will review your claim and ship a replacement unit to you at no cost. Do not ship the damaged unit back to us unless specifically instructed, as it may still be considered hazardous material.
3. Incorrect Items Received
If we made a mistake and shipped you the wrong item (e.g., you ordered a 5lb unit and received a 2.5lb unit), please notify us within 48 hours. We will ship the correct item to you immediately and provide instructions on how to handle the incorrect unit.
4. Order Cancellations
Because we process orders for same-day shipping, you have a limited window to cancel.

Before Shipping: If you need to cancel, please call or email us immediately. If the order has not been loaded onto the truck, we will cancel and refund you in full.

After Shipping: Once the tracking number is active, the order cannot be cancelled.
