Shipping Policy
ShopStrikeFirst.com is committed to delivering your fire safety equipment quickly and safely. Our nationwide warehouse network allows us to ship most orders within 2-3 business days.
Processing Time
We process orders Monday through Friday (excluding holidays). Orders placed before 2:00 PM EST are typically processed the same business day. Orders placed after 2:00 PM EST or on weekends/holidays will be processed the next business day.
Shipping Methods
We use a combination of shipping methods to ensure fast, cost-effective delivery:
Standard Shipping (UPS Ground)
- Applies to most orders under weight/size thresholds
- Estimated Delivery: 2-3 business days
- Included with all orders
Less Than Truckload (LTL) Freight Shipping
- Applies to larger orders that exceed standard shipping dimensions or weight
- Includes liftgate and residential delivery as standard
- Estimated Delivery: 3-5 business days depending on destination
- Freight charges calculated at checkout based on shipment weight and destination
Amazon Inventory Fulfillment
- For certain products, we may fulfill orders from our Amazon inventory network
- Delivery timeframes will be displayed in your checkout and order confirmation
Shipping Coverage
We ship to all 50 U.S. states. We do not ship to P.O. boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or internationally at this time.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:
- Order weight and dimensions
- Shipping method (UPS Ground vs. LTL Freight)
- Destination ZIP code
- Warehouse location utilized for fulfillment
Standard UPS Ground shipping charges apply unless your order qualifies for LTL freight shipping, in which case freight costs will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
Order Tracking
All orders include a tracking number sent via email upon shipment. You can track your package in real-time using the carrier's tracking system (UPS or freight carrier). Most customers receive tracking within 24 hours of order placement.
Delivery & Receiving
UPS Ground Deliveries
- Signature may be required for orders over a certain value
- Delivery to street address only (not P.O. boxes)
- Driver will attempt delivery once; packages may be held at local UPS facility
LTL Freight Deliveries
- Freight will be delivered to your address with liftgate service
- Consignee (recipient) is responsible for unloading freight from truck bed
- Delivery is to curbside or dock area
- Consignee must have capable labor or equipment to unload
- Residential liftgate delivery is included in our shipping cost
Delayed Shipments
While we strive to meet our estimated delivery windows, unforeseen circumstances (weather, carrier delays, holiday congestion) may occasionally cause delays. Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by carrier issues, weather, natural disasters, or other events beyond our control.
Damaged or Lost Shipments
If your shipment arrives damaged or is lost in transit, please contact us immediately with photos of the damage and your tracking number. We will work with the carrier to file a claim and resolve the issue. Do not refuse delivery of a damaged package without documenting the damage with photos and the carrier's driver.
Returns & Exchanges
Please refer to our Return Policy for information on returning or exchanging products. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
